Remembering 9/11

On September 11th, 2019, our church is hosting a ringing of the church bells in memory of all those who died in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centers in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington D.C. in 2001. Nearly 3,000 people died in the attacks, numerous firefighters, police officers, and other emergency service personnel died or were injured in rescue and clean-up efforts.

The church building will be open to the community from 8:30 am to 10:15 am. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend the memorial ringing. The bells will be rung manually (CST) when the four aircraft went down and when the passengers and crew of United 93 began their fight to retake the plane: 8:46 am, 9:03 am, 9:37 am, 9:57 am, or 10:07 am.
