End poverty through systematic change

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a Catholic charity organization that is run by over 100,000 lay volunteers throughout the USA. This vital non-profit organization is dedicated to assisting those in need who seek help with food, rental assistance, energy bills, prescription medicine costs, etc.

St. Vincent de Paul volunteers work at St. Joseph on Monday mornings. They begin taking calls at 9 am, and doors open at 10 am. This organization uses Vrabely Hall (the church basement) for their ministry.

Please use north side, center, ground-level entrance.
Please call 219-933-9504 with requests and inquiries.

Groceries can be picked up in Vrabely Hall from 10am to 11am. Food delivery can be arranged when necessary.

New volunteers are always welcome. We shop for and maintain inventory of food products, take phone applications, pack groceries, make deliveries, and track donations made to our group. If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information about our organization, please call 219-933-9504
