Children’s Religious Education

Kids are our future.
And the best faith foundation we can give them in life is to receive the holy sacraments.
Classes are available to anyone. Registration day is September 10th, 2023.

This 2023-2024 CCD school year will begin the Sunday after Labor Day weekend (9/10/23). This year the CCD classes between St. Joseph and St. John Bosco churches are combining. Masks are not required. They are optional for students and teachers. Anyone is welcome to wear a mask if it makes them more comfortable and/or feel safer. If you have a student who has any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, headache, loss of taste or smell etc.), or suspect that you may have symptoms, please stay home and get tested, and please let us know. Please consult your families doctor right away if you have any concerns. Please see the CDC guidelines for the State of Indiana for more information regarding Covid19 at: https://www.coronavirus.in.gov/ We will be watching for any changes to the guidelines as they arise.

Program Fees

• $80 for one student

• $120 for two students

• $150 for three or more students

• Need-based scholarships are available. Just contact Mrs. Blackwood’s office for more information.

A note from the director:

Religious Education is the process by which we, both children and adults, learn more about our faith. One of the goals of our RE program is to teach, model, and experience what it means to “live” our faith in the world and to “see and feel” where it is that God touches our lives. This goal can only be accomplished through the combined efforts of parents, clergy, catechists, teachers, staff, and our church communities, along with the continued and constant support of God's grace.
